Licorice Root Powder.

Botanical name: Glycyrrhiza Glabra.

Licorice root is used to soothe gastrointestinal problems and may help with heartburn and digestion. This is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of glycyrrhizic acid. It contains antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to aid the healing of skin and hair problems such as psoriasis. It is widely used in cosmetics and can help to reduce itching of the skin, inflammation and redness. Licorice will cleanse and tone your skin. It can also help with dark marks and blemishes.
Suggested Use: Take 1 1/2 grams or 1/2 tsp with water. May be repeated 2-3 times daily. For use on your skin or scalp, make a paste with the powder and apply topically.
